I found this little gem of a knife at Wal-Mart for $9.97, if I remember right. It's a full tang fixed blade with a sheath. Fits the hand like a glove and has a warrior's balance. Has a pseudo-sharpened back, and is sharpened on both sides--as a knife should be. (Some REALLY cheap knives are only sharpened on one side and the other is flat, which is a very weak and dull design.) You can affix a cord to it, and I suspect the weight is right for throwing, as well. Of course, this design, and the low quality of the steel do make this a brittle knife, but I am very happy with my $10 purchase!
